We are committed to a 10% reduction in carbon by 2012

We are currently working hard to understand our energy consumption working closely with both the CarbonTrust (www.carbontrust.co.uk) and Green500 (www.green500.co.uk). With their help we have identified a raft of energy saving measures. We are establishing baseline information on our energy usage by installing AMRs (Automatic Meters) into all our shops and thereby driving down C02 emissions.

In all our new shops we install energy saving devices and use low energy lighting. We recently won the platinum award at the London Mayor’s Green500 award ceremony for our work so far. Good news, but there's much more to do.
