The Pret Apprenticeship offers in-depth training, career progression and qualifications.
Starting out as a Team Member, the apprenticeship can take you all the way to a fully-funded BA Business Management Undergraduate degree. You'll be paid throughout and can progress at your own pace. We care about your qualities, not your qualifications. So long as you're passionate about a career in hospitality, we'll support you with everything you need to grow with Pret.
To reward and recognise the great work you do we offer a competitive pay rate.
Depending on location, Team Members can earn up to £11.75 per hour (after initial training), Baristas can earn up to £12.30 per hour and Leaders (supervisors) up to £13.15 per hour. Mystery Shopper bonus of £1.25 per hour.

As a Pret Team Member, you’ll not only make the best sandwiches (using amazing, fresh ingredients) but you’ll also spend time with energetic people, engage with customers and have lots of fun too.
Our Baristas are our coffee experts, they spend 12 weeks learning everything there is to know about coffee. They are passionate about creating bold and beautiful drinks and ensure we deliver amazing coffee standards every day.
Pret is growing, one shop at a time (we think good things shouldn’t be rushed) so we’re always on the lookout for great Team Leaders.
Our Leaders run each shift with precision, working either in our kitchens or serving our customers in shops or through our delivery channels. They lead by example, creating a welcoming environment for our customers and ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Our Assistant Managers support the General Managers and are responsible for implementing fantastic standards and building passionate, happy teams.
Support Centre (75B)
Pret opened its very first shop at 75B Victoria Street in 1986 with a promise of simple, delicious food served by friendly, motivated staff. Nowadays, our head office is called 75B, you’ll find it’s still located in Victoria and still full of friendly, motivated staff.
